State Representative Patrick Rose

State Representative Patrick Rose is a licensed realtor active in his family's small business, Rose Real Estate, which has operated in Dripping Springs for over 15 years. Rep. Rose specializes in farm and ranch sales.

In the Texas House, he represents District 45, which includes Blanco, Caldwell and Hays Counties. Rep. Rose has been working on many of our state's priorities including insurance reform, tort reform, ethics reform and the public education system. He passed 20 bills during the last legislative session, all of which were signed into law by Governor Perry.

Rep. Rose's independence, work ethic and legislative accomplishments won accolades from both his colleagues and the press. The Austin American Statesman said of Rep. Rose: "His independence makes him the kind of candidate people say they want."

His efforts in the Legislature on behalf of his constituents were recognized by:

Rep. Rose lives in his hometown of Dripping Springs and is a lifelong member of Dripping Springs United Methodist Church. He is also a member of the Drippings Rotary Club, the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce and the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce.
